Program Objectives

Advanced Manicure training at Summit Salon Academy Perrysburg includes theory, practical instruction, and business building skills, which prepare the student to perform nail care services on the general public.

Summit Salon Academy offers a 300-hour training program that meets Ohio state law standards. Summit Salon Academy provides education in all phases of advanced nails. The graduate will have knowledge in the business skills of today’s industry as well as the theory and practical skills required by Ohio state laws. Our graduates will have the background and skills to pass the state board-licensing exam and to work as a nail tech.

Is your school accredited?

Yes, we are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences (NACCAS). Our school is held to high standards to make sure our students are prepared to sit for the state exam to become a licensed nail technician and manicurist.

How long does the Advanced Nails program take?

As one of our shortest programs, this program can be completed in as little as 13 to 14 weeks! Unlike our Advanced Cosmetology or Advanced Esthetics program, this program focuses solely on nails and nail application. However, there are also lessons in business and social media marketing, too!

What options can I use to pay for school?

Though we are accredited with financial aid available for our other programs, our Nail Program does not qualify for financial aid because of its length. Please consult with school finance department about payment due dates and plans.
