Your Back To Beauty School Checklist!

Are you ready to go back to school? There are a few things to do before your first week of beauty school. Getting a good night of sleep, packing a bag, and picking up your textbooks are just a few! See how prepared you are with Summit Salon Academy Perrysburg back to school checklist!

Do Some Research

Do your research to prepare yourself both mentally and physically! Make sure that you have looked up the location of the school ahead of time and know how to get there. You may have to research local bus routes or find transportation before the first day of school.

Pack Your Bag

Make sure you have all of the items and supplies necessary! It’s a good idea to pack snacks, hygiene products, and a notebook. Pick out a bag that will be comfortable to wear and easy to carry around. Packing your bag the night before is a great way to not forget something important.

Lay Out Your Outfit

Try on your outfit and have it ready the night before so that you don’t have to decide in the morning. This can save time getting ready and ensure that you have everything. It could be a hassle if you woke up the first day of school and realized that you needed a belt or different shoes. Look up your school’s dress code to see what you can wear!

Eat Healthy

Eating nutritious foods can boost your immune system and your overall happiness! If you haven’t been eating the foods your body needs to be focused and attentive, you might want to start now. Here’s a good start to a well balanced diet:

  • Fresh fruits
  • Fresh vegetables
  • Whole grains
  • Legumes
  • Nuts
  • Lean proteins

Everyone’s diet is different, so make sure you adjust this list to fit your diet. Drink plenty of water, and start eating healthy now so you can feel your best for the first week of school!

Get a Good Night of Sleep

Lastly, get as much rest as you can before you start school. Resting can help you feel rejuvenated and ready to move! To avoid being tired, a good night of sleep will do. It may be difficult getting sleep when your mind is racing the night before your first day. A good sleeping tip is to lay in bed thirty minutes earlier than your bedtime to wind down from the day. During that time, disconnect from electronics. Don’t forget to set your alarm!
